hope the category's correct!

this is my entry for ~X-The-Darxter-X 's contest, which was to CREATE an angel :3

saw this as an opportunity - I don't have any characters with purely white hair... or any angelic characters at all (not even half-angels haha)
I don't know if this is creative enough ;_; on one side, I wanted it to be original, but on the other I didn't want to OVERDO it, as if I'm trying too hard

NAME: Alaya. comes from Hebrew and it means 'To ascend; to go up' (a form of 'Aliya' ).
SIDE: well, she's a dark angel, obviously... but I don't know whether she's evil or not. I think she's more of an anti-hero or something... (though she looks innocent lol)

NOTES: the marking on her cheek means she's cursed (so yes, she used to be a normal fluffy angel at first, but I guess she did something bad/unforgivable. I have no idea, haven't thought of her story yet.)
WHICH is also why her halo is black, broken and she just wears as a necklace what's left of it.

the mark itself was randomly-chosen, I didn't look it up or anything like that... I just drew something that doesn't look religious (I don't want to involve religion in this, as much as I can...). of course if it is a symbol, do tell so I could change it.

maybe I won't use her anymore, I don't know... it makes me feel guilty, but yeah.
